High Crotches

Hey Mr. Friedl,
I'm wondering if you can give me some pointers on a high crotch. I can hit them from a duck-under pretty well. I can get in tight from most setups but on my knees. It's hard to finish. I can get in fine in a high crotch, but I do not have an angle on the person. It's not really inconvenient that I can only hit a crack-down and not switch up to a double because I'm not in the right position.
Is there anyway that I can hit a high crotch while getting a good angle on the guy? Or I need to troubleshoot?

I know words can't really express these things, but if you would rather point out a wrestler who has a good high crotch I'll youtube it and study their motions.
btw, I'm around 135lb range.

i think your problem stems from the postion of your shoulders when you shoot.  if the shoulder of your shooting arm is too far out in front you will tend to go for more of a crackdown finish.  if that same shoulder is more square and you're able to bring your trail leg up and almost behind your opponent you will get a better angle with which to finish.  
remember, just for sake of technique. the lowest you ever want to be when you shoot is as tall as you can stand on your knees(both knees on the mat and stay completly upright).  any lower than that and you'll have problems getting back to your feet, which could be another reason for your continual cracking down.  but that position is not limited to just hi-c's, that rule of thumb should be used for all shots, idealy!  good luck!
