I'm a freshman and I was interested in girls wrestling at my school.I have never done any kind of wrestling before and I was wondering if you had any tips for first-timers?

Answer
Yea, be prepared for one of the hardest practices you will ever have in your life. I would start conditioning before you go into practice. Go running to condition your legs, do push ups an sit ups. Lift because you need strength to do wrestling and you need to be able to take a lot of work outs. You will be sore but remember, when you come back home, ice your sores and put a heating pad on it. You'll thank me in the morning. Most of all, when they teach you the basics, don't be afraid to ask the coach to show you again if you don't unerstand. Good luck
