Real fight

Question
QUESTION: Hi Dave,

I have a dilemma for few months.Since we all know that Brock Lesnar has returned to WWE.I like his attitude. But, my favorite wrestler is The Undertaker. And we all know that they don't like each other.I want to ask you who will win in a real fight considering both are in their primes. Also considering the actual age of both of them.Who will will in a real fight.

Thanks.

ANSWER: Hi Sam.  Thanks for the question.

A real fight between the two?  I think Lesnar would win pretty easily.  Lesnar is an UFC trained fighter, and former UFC Champion.  The Undertaker is a fan of UFC, but I don't know how much training he has had.  He's stated that if UFC was around early in his career, he might have gotten into it.

As far as both being in their primes, I don't know about that.  Lesnar is 34 years old.  The Undertaker is 47.  Lesnar has had his share of injuries and health issues over the years, but if anyone is in his prime it's him.  There is a reason The Undertaker hardly wrestles anymore.  His age has caught up with him, and he is injury prone.

If this was 10 years earlier, and The Undertaker had the proper training, I could see him giving Lesnar a decent fight.  Right now though, I don't think it's much of a fight.

Thanks for the question.  Let me know if you have anything else.

Have a great night!

Dave

QUESTION: Hi Dave,

I understand why are you saying Brock will win pretty easily But,i don't think a prime Undertaker will loose to Brock without giving him a beating of his life.I remember when Undertaker was in prime, even the most fierce WWE superstars afraid of him.He has destroyed everybody when he debuted including Hulk Hogan,Giant Gonzalez,He choke slammed 568 lbs Mabel in a fight. He was unpinned for almost 5 years. In his prime from 1989-1999,he seems to have no effect of any shot i mean to say he was not feeling pain.He I don't think Brock can beat this undertaker easily. In his prime,he was 6,10-11,330 lbs damn strong and powerful,he has beaten most fierce superstars like Sycho Sid,Kevin Nash single-handedly.On the other hand,Brock has been defeated many times even in his prime.Even Undertaker with a broken right hand dominated the Hell in a Cell match.I am sure if Undertaker has had his both hands in that fight,he would have won that match.

Answer
Hi Sam.

You said a "real" fight.  UFC is real.  WWE is scripted.

I am not saying The Undertaker isn't tough, because he is.  He would probably come out on top in most "real" fights against WWE Superstars.

I just think Lesnar would be too tough for him.  Lesnar is a former UFC Champion.  The Undertaker has never had a UFC match, and has never trained for it, as far as I know anyway.

The Undertaker beat all the guys you mentioned because it was scripted for him to win.  Lesnar lost matches in WWE because it was scripted for him to lose.

The are no scripts in UFC.  Lesnar won those matches for real.  Like I said earlier, if it was 10 years ago, and The Undertaker has some proper training, I could see him giving Lesnar a run for his money.  Without the training, I don't think he has much of a chance.  Even if he did, I still say Lesnar wins.

Have a great night.

Dave
