high school wrestling

Dear, Dave.
I was wondering if wrestling in high school will help me at all on the road to the WWE. I'm from a small town in Oregon and i need all the help I can get. I already looked at WCWC (West Coast Wrestling Connection)in Salem.

Hi Sharpepain.  Thanks for the question.

Well, there are several factors involved in becoming a pro wrestler, let alone making it to WWE.

Wrestling in high school is certainly a good start.  Even in pro wrestling, you're going to have learn the basic moves of wrestling, which you will in high school.

Also, the training you will receive is going to be similar to what you will have to go through as a pro wrestler, at least as far as the workouts go.

If you wrestle in high school and then go to a pro wrestling school, you will already be up to speed on some of the basic moves, and be in pretty good shape as well.
