Why did Mickie James Leave?

So ok what's the deal? Why did Mickie James leave? I've been a fan of
Mickie James all the time I watched wrestling all I want to know is why
she left.

Mickie James had desires outside of professional wrestling, namely, she it trying to become a country music singer.  She has a CD that is currently on the market.  It is called Strangers and Angels.  She asked for and received her release to persue this venture.

She has returned to wrestling on the indy circuit from time to time.  She last wrestled in Puerto Rico on July 11.
