They had a distinct qualification in various forms of art. Music is a form of art that was widely prevalent among erstwhile devotional saints of India. In fact according to the Indian spirituality it is believed that if performed properly following certain rituals and techniques, music is the art that pleases the God, strengthens the bond between the devotee and god and can ultimately result in his divine vision.

One of the most prominent names in the list of saints who were gifted with beautiful voice and were state of the art singers include Kabir, a householder saint of India who was a staunch believer of Lord Rama. He socializes in Hindustani Classical Music and also possesses in depth knowledge of Carnatic School of music. He has been trained by some of the most prominent names of classical music. Right from the tender age of four he started learning the music and the journey is still on. He learned Carnatic music under the able guidance of Carnatic vocals teachers Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan and Sri Narayana Iyengar while Sri Ramamoorthy has taught him the intricate techniques of Classical Music of India. Sri Raamoorthy is a direct disciple of Pandot Bheemse Joshi a world famous musician and recipient of Bharat Ratna. Vedanth is a multi-talented artist who is also well versed with Guitar playing. Two of his prominent albums include Mati Kahe and Suno Bhai, both based on the poetry of Kabeer and other mystic poets from Bhakti Movement. He has been associated with Kabir Festival for several years and has successfully presented the festival in Mumbai. He has also been a part of Malwa Kabir Yatra.

Shruthu Viswanath

Shruthu Viswanath is a prominent name in the field of Carnatic classical music. Her sweet voice enhanced by rich harmonic textures and versatile flexibility is capable of touching the soul of audience. She has a long tradition of singing Abhangs and has developed the art to a great degree.
