According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, all persons hunting or taking game animals, except landowners and their immediate families hunting on their own land, must have a valid hunting license and must carry the license while hunting.

-Siblings
Landowners and their immediate family members are not required to have a hunting license, but must still register their harvest through the Georgia Game Check system within 24 hours of taking the deer.
