Katana vs. Shark: Can a Samurai Sword Cut Through a Shark?

While a katana is a very sharp and powerful sword, it is unlikely to be able to cut a shark in half. Sharks have very tough skin and cartilage, and their body is full of water. This means that a sword would have to be incredibly sharp and powerful in order to cut through all of that material.
