ANGLER’S MAIL is number one for fishing tips and tricks! Here’s another one from Bill Rushmer.
I am a great believer in paste and once the colder weather arrives I add vodka to try to stop any oils emulsifying in low temperatures.
However, I like sweet baits so I often make up my winter paste with both vodka and golden syrup.
The two additives work well together and I think the vodka also helps the sweetness of the golden syrup to disperse more quickly in low temperatures.
I am now experimenting with adding these additives to cheese pastes.
