Answer
Cody,

Thank you for your question.  First of all, the umpire is allowed to eject anyone in the ballpark from the game.  That includes all managers, coaches, players, spectators and anyone else around.  The umpire is the ultimate controller of the ball game and everything surrounding the park.  So the answer is YES, he is allowed to eject you.

Secondly, it is always the manager's job to argue calls.  Please understand that an umpire will never reverse a call, especially if he is met with hostility. That means if you ever argue in an upset manner, you will not get your way.  The biggest mistake in discussing a call with an umpire is to tell him that he made a wrong call.

I understand that it is upsetting, but umpires are not perfect. They make mistakes just as players and coaches do.  A check swing is a judgement call just as balls and strikes are judgement calls. Argueing these calls will get you nowhere.  Discussing such a call with an umpire between innings in a non-aggressive way may get you a favorable call later in the game.  Additionally, you can ask the umpire to ask the field umpire for his opinion.  If you do it the right way, he may ask for help from the other umpire and get the call reversed.  But if you go after them and try to show them up, you will never get a call.

My advice is leave the "argueing" to your manager.  It is not your business to argue calls, especially something like a check swing.

Enjoy baseball, practice it and learn it.  It is the best game in the world!!!

PLAY BALL!!!
