Passing strategy

Answer
Hi Ash,

Well your not going to learn the team game by me telling you things but it is a good start. If you take what I tell you and try to apply it on the court you can become a team player.

1. Think team first.(dont worry about your stats or playing time).
2. Think pass before shot unless you have a wide open shot that comes within the offense.
3. If your shot isnt going in dont get down on yourself and sulk, do other things to help your team such as, play tough "D", rebound, hustle, and be positive.
4. Passing strategies: If a man is open ahead of you, pass him the ball; if you have a shot but your teammate will have a better shot if you pass him the ball, pass him the ball; know the offense and where your teammate should be in the offense and pass him the ball; know who has the hot hand and pass him the ball; if a post player is working hard to get open down low and he is open or has his man sealed, pass him the ball; always try and make a good pass so your teammate can shoot without fumbling with the ball.
5. Always listen to your coach and try to do what he asks of you even if you dont agree with him.(Pertaining to Basketball)
6. A good teammate is a positive one who alwasys encourages his teammates.
