why do mt fingers become cut open when i bowl with inserts

Interesting medical question. I'd suspect the friction, tension and pressure created as you exit the bowling ball. Are the grips pitched? Oval? What kind of pitches do yu use/have they changed recently? Have you tried taping the fingers to protect them? Did you just start using grips? Not much info to work with.

I'd also consult with a doctor as you may have dry skin, or some issue that causes sensitivity (allergy to vinyl), or skin concerns that might be a symptom of something else. Thanks for the question.
