Locating a Lost Pin in a Ball: Understanding Weight & Construction

Question
I have a ball with the pin drilled out, and i am not sure where it is. Can it be found with a ball scale.THANKS

Answer
Richard,
No, the pin is at the top of a ball's weightblock or its a fill hole from the mold the ball was made in (for a non-center heavy core). Not the heaviest point on the ball. Sorry.

What ball is it? If there is a marked mass bias, you can guesstimate very close. If the pin was drilled out, before the ball is plugged, you can see the remnants of the pin at the bottom of the hole that removed it (most likely). Thanks for the question. Bowl well.
