Declining a Punting Penalty in Ohio High School Football: Can It Be Done?
Question If ruffing the kicker is called in high school football in OHIO can the penalty be declined.
Answer Sure. Just about any penalty (of course less automatic ejection and unsportsmanlike penalties) can be declined.
The only real question would be (since I dont have all the facts of the game) is why your team (or the other team) would want to decline this penalty since it is a major penalty that would be assessed.
