ok im 5'8 160 pounds 210 bench 350 squat..i think im very good i can throw 60-65 yards i run a 4.9 40..im trying to get faster..but i was starting qb for our freshman team and i know the plays and formations of both offence and other teams defences..i threw 17 touchdowns and 3 ints last year and idont know how many yards..but my problem is i tend to get in a hurry and force things most work but some dont im afraid i wont beat out our varsity senior qb because of it...any advice?

Answer
Well Sam it sounds like you are successful already.  Often times a lot of coaches end up playing the older player, because he has paid his dues.  I don't personally run my team that way, but many coaches do.  Just work as hard as possible, try and beat the senior in every drill, and every sprint.  Show the coaches that you really want the job.  If the other qb falters at all, they won't hesitate to put you in the game.  Or better yet, you will win the job out right.  HANG IN THERE COACH NOEL!!!
