Hands/Focus

Question
Hey coach lately at practice I've sort of lost my focus or mojo becuase usually I have complete focus on the ball when its coming to me. But if I drop one ball it seems like thats when i go downhill...my hands become horrible my focus goes completely down and my confidence is below zero...if its not my focus then it could be my hands...do you have any tips for good sticky hands???

Answer
Richard I would like to make sure that you are using the window or diamond technique.  For example if the ball is above your head, your index figures should come together along with both hands thumbs.  Try to receive the ball gently, except it your hands softly.  Don't attack the ball with your hands.  Be sure to see the ball all the way to your hands.  Avoid catching the ball with your body, unless you are make a sliding catch.  And most of all just keep practicing, even at home.  Keep your spirits up and just keep working at it.  GOOD LUCK COACH NOEL!!
