tight end
Question
I am a 6,2 195 pound tight end playing high school football in my sophmore year. I have great hands and can block well, but have problems with speed and getting open. I ran a 5.5 40. Is there a way to improve this so I can become a better player?
Answer
Joseph,
The only way to improve there is through hard work and speed training. That is a very detailed process that I think you should discuss with your coaches. Most schools now have strength and speed programs for their players to work on in the offseason.
