First time winger

Question
Hi my name's matthew i've been playing rugby for about 9 years and have been coaching fowards for about 2 years.
i've played most positions in the foward pack and i'm playing hooker for my university this year.

My mate wants to start playing rugby eventhough i think its a bit late to start but he's passionate to try. He is about 6'5 weighs 72 kgs and can run the 100m in about 11:30...i believe he would be best suited as a wing. could you please give me some advise of how to teach him the basics of playing wing...

Answer
Hi Mathew, I am sorry mate but I have been out with unexpected health issues the last week. I suggest you get you buddy to get "rugby for dummies", use Google for coaching websites and even Utube for "Rugby Training". Also read over my past answers to get plenty of answers on winger.

Follow up in a week when I can get you a better answer.
