Greater distance off my left hand

2016/7/16 9:56:25

Question
I play scrum-half and is there any drills I can do to get a greater distance off my left hand pass?

Answer
Any drill that you would use to improve your right hand pass will work for your left hand. You simply have to do many more drills to make up for the fact your left hand is your weak side.

Get a bag of balls and a team mate to be your 1st 5. Start out at a short distance until you get consistent success then work out a step at a time. Your left hand pass should be an exact copy of your right hand pass just "flipped" this will give you greater consistency over both sides.
