Batting Order Changes & Rules: Understanding Re-entries and Lineup Alterations

Question
Follow up on question from 5-3-11.
If the offensive team would have reached the number 9 batting slot were the team put the substitute that was suppose to be in the number - 3 slot. What do we have.

Question-#2.
If a team is caught altering the batting line up.
Ex:  Batter-2 batted  and scored, then batter-6 should be batting but batter-2 came up to bat again but he is comimg back in as a re-entry but not in the same batting slot. He was put iin the wrong batting slot. This went on with diffrrent batters through out the game. Was caught after the game. What would we have have if he was caught during the game? The oppossing coaches are not experienced.
Thx for your help

Answer
Question 1:  This would be batting out of order.  The number 1 hitter should be up.

Question 2:  This is all batting out of order.  If a BOO is caught prior to the first pitch to the next batter, the batter that was supposed to bat is out and the batter that follows the batter that was called out bats.
