Howald wonderod by shakespeare model no. 1390 fag 8ft 6in 3 piece pole made in usa kalamazoo mich. i believe it is a 1941 pole comes with a tube case appears 2 be old but in excellent shape almost 2 good if this is the time period of pole wondering on value if i should save and pass on in the family or if should just use as a pole 2 fish with thank you 4 your time reviewing this letter hope you may know something of this model

Hi David,

It is a great old rod.  Joe Douglas on this site would have a better idea of it's value.  I see quite a few on e-bay listing for $35 to $80.  Although none of them have bids on them.  I believe to the right bidder it may go for $50.  Maybe a little more considering the condition.
