Identifying and Valuing Vintage Fishing Rods: Harnell & Pike's Peak

I have a Harnell 505  20lb boat road in great condition.

I also have a four piece bamboo fly rod but I can't read the manufacturer's name. The second name on the rod is Pike's Peak.  Any ideas?

Hi John,

I think the Pikes Peak is an old Denverod.  The are worth a little money.  Maybe $100-$150.

The Harnell are from the 50's.  Popular out on the west coast.  Probably worth $50-$75.

That all said, I am not the collector rod guy.  The guy who you want to pose this question to is Joe Douglas.  Add some pictures if you can.
