orvis rod

hey i have an orvis impregnated bamboo rod serial 21938 two piece 8.5 ft  with an extra tip and original bag and aluminum tube.  how much could this be worth and can you tell me about it?

Hi Blake,

This model is referred to as a heavy trout rod.  It is impregnated with a bakelite solution inside and out to preserve/protect the rod, but this also makes it physically a bit heavier.  Value would depend on the exact model (I don't have a serial number list) and would be in Good-Very Good condition $300-$450; and in Excellent-Mint condition $500-$700; depending on actual condition of the rod.
