milward fly rod

Hi Joe I have a milward fly rod that is exactly the same as the questioner from Reykjavik Iceland, Palmi Hloedversson( Answer 2008) Does this rod have any value? Do you know any body that would like to buy it? Any info would greatly be apreciated. The rod is in very good condition.

Hi Mike,

Took me a while to find that answer.  Yes, the rod has value.  I would guess it to be valued in the $200-$300 range depending on actual condition.

As to selling it, consignment in an antiques store or one of the online auctions are options.  There are also specialty auctions you can locate via internet searches that deal in vintage fishing gear and one of those might suit your purpose.
