i have a very old mid victorian split lead shot container with sprung lids. the container has two compartments on at each end. can you surgest a value and where best to sell it

I am sorry but the collecting end of the tackle is not my expertise. I was able to find a few in the $30 to $40 range on a few websites but nothing that old.
E-bay seems to be the place to sell something like this, but your item may need to be shown to a serious tackle collecting expert.
You may want to try a website like www.nflcc.org to find someone in your area.
