Hurd Reel Nut Replacement: Finding Parts for Your Super Caster

I have a Hurd rod Super Caster and reel with the # 49758 on the bottom side of the reel.   It is missing the nut on the reel (opposite side from the winding side).  Looks like it must have internal threads and a closed top on it.   Can you tell me where I might find this part.

You might watch ebay and try to find one thats in bad shape and buy for parts. You may need to be patient for the right opportunity to come along.
