Clear water lakes

Question
Center Hill Lake in Smithville TN. is a deep clear water lake. Water temp now is mid to upper 40s and I am clue less on how to catch these fish. Any suggestions on fishing these type conditions.

WEll in the winter when fishing is really tough a lot of guys use the Float and Fly method of fishing for bass and crappie. Bascially it is a longer rod with light line and a 1/16th or 1/32nd ounce jig. I have written several articles on it. You can find them at www.FloatandFly.com. IN winter bass move very slowly and hit baits that are basically put no their noses. Read the articles and you should be able to duplicate the method. I can also recommend several guides on Tennessee Lakes that use the method who might teach you as well.
