old split cane rod

Hello i am wondering if you could tell how much the following rod is worth it as a marking on forshaws of ???? and below that says greenline 10-1/2'. the rod is of spli cane and very good condition.

Hi Alan,

Forshaws of Liverpool is the retailer and may be the maker although I do not know if they actually make/made rods.  I do not have much information about the company.  I do see a lot of their rods on the UK version of the online auctions.  As to value, I would probably look to the online auctions for similar models as a starting point.  I do not have any reference material on Forshaws rods.
