Identifying & Valuing Vintage Fly Fishing Gear: Martin Reel & Bamboo Rod

I have a old martin fly reel #60 and a bamboo fly rod with four
differnt tips the sticker on the rod gold.. something... and a
lion face on it... with an wood case. It was my grandpas.Just
would like some INFO on it you could please.   THANKS

based on your description it sounds like an occupied Japan flyrod. These rods run in the $20 to $50 range. The main collector interest is American split bamboo fly rods.

The reel is fairly common fly reel made in the US.
