I have a never used with box that says sears, roebuck and co, and simpsons-sears limited.
The reel is a J.C. Higgins level wind roto drag, spin casting reel,
model number on box 3112,
I was wondering if you could tell me how much it would be worth, if anything? and who would want to buy it.

these reels are at the lower end of the collectors value since they were mass produced, and relatively inexpensive. However, your note indicates you have the original box and the reel looks like its in very good condition.
I would expect it to sell between $15 and $25.
Note: prices on fishing tackle collectibles are down with the current economy, more sellers than buyers.
