one of the big ones
Chris I do alot of pond fishing it is my favorite out of bodies of water i have produced some big fish from ten pound range up to 14 lbsbut this spring and summer they are not biting like i want them to i have caught very few fish this year and they are all pretty small do you have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong or if it is to early after spawn for them to be biting
Answerjudging from the photo, this does not appear to be a CARP..fish are usually quite voracious after the spawn, but they might be pretty well beat up as well,,,,,,If CARP are your prey, try pre-baiting an area first with cattle cubes or boiled deer corn,,,,,,,then use the deer corn as your hook bait,,,,,when boiling corn do not boil for longer than 1.5 hours
