Phillipson pacemaker rod

I am trying to find out some info on a phillipson pacemaker rod and what it might be worth.  It is a spinning rod and it says on it "7 4 3/4. and has the number 80 on it.  The rod looks to be new and never used.  it is in the original metal tube that also says phillipson pacemaker on it.  Any info would be helpfull

Bill Phillipson made rods in Denver, CO.
But neither the collectors want nor has anyone written history on casting rods, that I know. And I  have looked. I have also tried to sell bamboo casting rods with little to no luck.
How do you know it is a spin rod? Is the reel seat above or below the handle ? Is it round (fiberglass, graphite ) or flat sided (bamboo )?
