1951 Presentation bamboo rod Scotland

Question
Hello:  I'm trying to find out some information on an approx 7', 6 sided split bamboo rod with the following markings.  It has a gold and black shield shaped decal with "Imrie - Rod makers - Callander Scotland", and has an inscription on the metal on the lower handle that says it was given to a justice of the peace in 1951 after 40 years service, in Callander Scotland.  Bamboo handle, the eyes are lined in a white material and it basically looks unused except...someone has taken off the tip eye.  I'm having trouble finding out any information on it.  Thanks, Wayne

Answer
Wayne,
Well the good news is you are writing to bamboo fishing rod guy but the bad news is I am a trout fly bamboo rod guy.  If you have a main library like Denver you will find one copy of this book:Fishing Tackle: A Collector's Guide  Hardcover, 1991 Graham Turner which has UK rods in it. Please let me know what you learn.
I do know that non trout and non fly bamboo  rods have a very small market here in the US.
Good luck
