Master Rod

My husband purchased a Master brand surf fishing rod and reel at a local yard sale.  The rod is a surf pole and is numbered 6602.  It came in a long, hinged wooded box that seems to have been built for the pole.  Any idea where I could track the value of this pole or do you have any idea?

Hi Tina,

I have not been able to locate anything about this rod in my reference materials.  I suggest you might want to try one of the online discussion boards where the folks concentrate on that type of fishing.

www.bloodydecks.com is a site that has an active forum to discuss saltwater and surf rods and fishing.  It seems to be a good one and the folks who participate know a whole lot more than I do about surf rods.

It's probably worth a try.
