Best Fly Fishing Flies for Northeast Pennsylvania in June

Question
It's 06-04-07 in Northeast Pennsylvania, what would be a good fly to fish with?  Color and size.(also for the rest of the month.)
thanks Rich McGaughey

Answer
Peak,
Northeast Pennsylvania and fly choice is a little bit out of my usual questions on bamboo fly rods here in Colorado but  . . .
I use a guide book with hatch charts for any are I go to. And I stop at the local fly shop where they have a white board naming bugs , flies and water conditions.  I find them usually accurate with a grain a salt on size and numbers. Search the internet for hatch charts and name of the river(s)  you are going to fish.
But if I don't know I fish nymphs the color of the water minerals usually dark green or black. I pick up a rock when I get to the stream and look at the size and color of nymphs clinging to it.
When all else fails a caddis and adams will work for dry flies
Good Luck and tight lines.
Mac
