Lo-vis Green

Question
What do you know about Lo-vis Green line.  Is it better used in certain situations or can it be used as an all around line?  Is it mainly for certain types of fish or color of water?  Any info would greatly be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Jason,

No, Lo-Vis green is not for all situations.  It actually works best in lakes that also have a greenish tint.  My father liked the low-vis green line, but in clear water it didn't work.  When Lake Michigan cleared up many years ago, we noticed my fathers catches were down.  I had him switch to clear and his success changed immediately.

If you want a line that works in all water, stick with a clear line.  If you are fishing lures where you need to watch the line, then go with a clear/blue line.
