Plastics like Powerbait

How long will plastics like PowerBait last once opened?  I have some packs that have been opened and resealed, but I am curious if they need to be replaced.

If powerbait is kept in the sealed bag it comes in, it should last years. I would keep it out of the sun and high heat though. I use Powerbait on my musky bucktails / crankbaits and I do put a new tail on if it has been on a couple of weeks and I can't smell it anymore.

Be carefull with the new Gulp, it dries out in less then a day. If you want to reuse it, you should take it off the hook and put it back in the bag. I tried it this last year and have decided to stay with the Powerbait.
