South Bend 9ft fly pole and reel

Its marked no 47 and still in tube. What is it worth? It is bamboo. Reel is no 1196 oreno.

Hi Keith,

Value depends entirely on actual condition of the rod, bag and tube.  The #47 should have two tip sections; all rod sections should be full length; there should be no damage and minimal signs of use; the bag should have no rips or holes; the tube should be functional and show no signs of damage (the tube will show signs of wear if the rod has been used and transported at all).

The reel is probably valued around $15-$25 depending on condition.

Value ranges for the rod are Poor-Fair $30-$60; Good-Very Good $80-$150; Excellent-Mint $160-$190.
