I HAVE A BOURBOND BAIT ROD MFG.BY THE BOURNE&BOND
MFG.CO LOUISVILLE KY. THE ROD IS 40 INCHES LONG WITH 3 ROUND RINGS WELDED TO MAKE THE FRONT EYE .IT HAS A CORK HANDLE AND
A SLIDING TRIGGER THAT ACTUALLY HOLDS THE FRONT REEL FOOT .
ANYTHING YOU CAN TELL ME WOULD BE GREAT I CANT FIND ANYTHING ON THIS ROD.   THANKS MONTE

I am checking with a friend from Kentucky. Steel was replaced by fiberglass in the 1950s....you rod is probably pre WWII. Let me see what else I can find out. I think they were a sporting goods company that sold fishing tackle made by other companies (similar to Sears).
