Bamboo Pole Value: Identification & Estimated Worth

Hello, I have an 11-12 ft bamboo pole that was passed down to me. It is a two piece with the initials GVD stamped om the metal part of the handle. Any idea on its value? Thank you, Mike

Is this a fly rod or a bamboo pole you use for bait fishing?

If it is a fly rod, I'll need some more information and maybe a picture to help identify it.

If it is what we used to call a cane pole, the value is in the $2-$5 range depending on condition.
