Stiff hands

Question
I overplayed at a golf range a week ago with addition to gripping the club to hard and started waking up with stiff fingers on both hands. It subsides throughout the day but there's still a little pain during some movement and I also feel it when I massage it. I have tried Aleve PM at night time but that doesn't seem to work at all. Should I go to my doctor to get some prescription strength anti-inflammatory meds? How long do you think this would last? I recently just got the bionic relief grip gloves hoping it'll help. Do you think I should refrain from playing for another week?

Hello Wendy.
I'm having difficulty uploading pictures that help explain my answer and would like to send you an email with those along with explanations.  If you're comfortable doing that, send me an email to [email protected] and I'll get back to you as soon as I receive it.

Thanks,

John
