Calculating Golf Handicap Differential with Multiple Courses

Question
Hello Michael, I have a question about calculating handicap in a certain scenario.  I have recently played 18-holes of golf at a course which has 3 different 9-hole courses (ie I played two of the 9-hole courses).  Each of the 9-hole courses has a separate (and different) slope and rating.  My question is, how can I calculate my handicap differential for that day of golf to be included in my handicap index?  Will I need to record this as two different rounds on 9-hole courses or is there some way I can combine the two to represent one 18-hole round of golf.  I thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me.  Have a great day.  Mark

Answer
Mark,

Good question and the answer is easy. The USGA course rating crew should have a course and slope rating for the 3 possible 18 hole courses. A+B, B+C and C+A. If not just add the 9 hole cousre ratings and the slope ratings for the respective 9's.

Hope this answers your question.
