Average Club & Ball Speeds of Professional Golfers

hi there & happy holidays. im interested in knowing what the top speed is (by the average pro) of both the club speed while accelerating toward the ball, as well as the ball speed while in the air itself.

The longer hitting pros (like Tiger Woods and John Daly) have club speeds of around 115-125 mph. The resulting ball speeds at the beginning of flight are about 170-190 mph. The speed of the ball decreases as it moves through the air.
