Wendy Ward - LPGA Player

How come Wendy Ward is not playing in this week's Women's US OPen?

Well I have read 12 different websites and cannot find an answer.  I thought at first she might be boycotting because of the Bivens deal, but she is not necessarily a Bivens supporter either. to (not) answer your question,  I do not know why she chose to not play, which is dissapointing because she is always a contender and played College ball from my home town, Phoenix.  I am sorry I could not be of more help.  Maybe she had personal things to tend to, however Professional athletes usually schedule around those when Major events are scheduled.  Hmmmmmmm..
