width vs length

Question
I was wonder if I should get to separate boards for powder and park usually I try and get one for everything but I want to go for a smaller park board this year im 6'2 about 190 I was going to go for a 158w for park and a 164w for pow, how does that sound? Also is width more important than length in regards to it floating in powder better. thank you

Answer
if you can afford two different boards, then go for two. you can find boards today that will mix together a powder board with freestyle so you can only purchase one. look for the label of "All Mountain Freestyle" on boards. in a personal opinion, Option Snowboards make a good mix, and it sounds as though you have bigger feet, so i'd suggest the Option Icon model, or the Kevin Sansalone model.
as far as length vs width, length is more important so the nose of the board can float above the snow.
