Question

pabst snowboard
Hello, My Grandfather is Closing his bar.  My brother and I inquired many of things that vendors had give my Grandpa.  I have a 2003 Pabst Blue Ribbon Snowboard.  It is fiberglass with Bindings and about 5' 5" tall and 10" wide in center.  It hung above the bar so I'm not sure if it is even safe enough to take out on the slopes.
My question is if you possibly know how much it might be worth or if it can be used as a snowboard.  I live in Oregon and about an hour from the mountains.  My boyfriend wants to take it up there this winter.  I won't let him till we find out it is safe.  Also if it is worth more then we can buy him a new board I won't let him take it out either.
Well thank you for taking the time to read this.  Have a wonderful day Anjee

Answer
Hi,

It looks like a nice board and I'm sure it's no less safe than any other board as long as the bindings are screwed in tightly.  As far as how much it is worth as a snowboard it might be worth a few hundred bucks, but Pabst being the most popular beer for 20 something trendsters (especially in Oregon) you might be able to fetch a higher price than just a regular board.  I would try looking online like on ebay for similar boards and see how much people are buying them for.

Hope this helps,

Ben
