my daughter, 15,  dives one meter would like to do more.  we are moving from illinois to wv.  she is refusing to move with me if i dont find her a diving team/club/lessons  

completely frantic
would love to find something near huntington, charleston - do any of the universities have feeder teams / lessons/ clubs

The best place to start your search is with the diving coach at Marshall University in Huntington. His name is Jim Zagaria. His e-mail is [email protected]. Contact him and ask if he has a club team. If he does not, he may know of another program for your daughter to join.The schools website for the athletic department is www.herdzone.com. Click on Women's Swimming for more information about the coach and his program.

In looking at other websites like www.usadiving.org, www.aaudiving.org and www.divemeets.com, I did not see any programs in Charleston. I am sure that Jim will know if there is team in that town she can join.
