hi i am looking for a summer camp or anywhere i can train for platform diving. i just had to stop my competitive training for gymnastics, i was in level 5, and i want to try platform diving but i cant find a place in the phoenix area to train.

The only pool with platforms in your area is found at ASU/Tempe and the Sun Devil Diving Team run by the college coach Mark Bradshaw and his age group coach Marc Briggs. Go to www.sundevildivers.com for more info on their program. They will hosting a meet next month that you should plan on going to to see what competitions on platform are all about for your age group.

As far as summer camps go, the best ones for platform are found at the University of Texas, Austin and the University of Indiana, Bloomington. Google their athletic department's websites for more info. Do it soon as these camps usually sell out.
