swimming making my legs stronger

2016/7/15 11:57:47

Question
hello sir/madam. does swimming makes my legs stronger?

Answer
Short answer, yes. Long answer, what do you mean by stronger? Will it make your run faster or farther? No. Will it help you lift more weight? Probably not.

What will happen is that the muscles you use to kick will get stronger, gain more endurance and become more efficient at kicking.

If you want your legs to be better at some activity, you should do that activity.

If you're trying to lose weight and improve the look of your legs, swimming will help because it will help you lose weight.
