freestyle tumble (flip) turn

Question
Dear George

I could not ask a followup so I have to ask a new question.
Recently I asked about freestyle flip turn. As I flip over you advised that in order for the hand not to follow the hips ie separate from your body, as you flip you sort of slide your hands along your legs. Thanks for the advice.

What about as you flip instead of doing the above, you press both your hands down. Will this separate the hands from the hips when you turn over?

Thank you. Your reply is very much appreciated.

Sincerely

Eddie

Answer
Yes, that is another way to keep your hands away from your hips during the turn. Very good thinking on your part.  The more you can analyze each part of a stroke or turn, etc. the easier it is to figure out and change little techniques.
Great job,
George
